I am a 2007 graduate of Ash Grove High School. My husband, Josh, has taught science at the junior high and high school since 2012 and currently serves on the high school football coaching staff. We have three children attending the district: Kyler (Class of 2026), Blake (Class of 2029), and Katie (Class of 2034). Professionally, I work as an account manager for a digital agency in Springfield. I also lead the Ash Grove Quarterback Club and the Baseball Booster Club, as I enjoy volunteering whenever possible. In my spare time, I love attending my children's sporting events, cheering for the KC Chiefs, spending time at the lake, and reading a good book.

I’m Caleb Smith, and I’m proud to serve the Ash Grove community on the R-IV School Board. As both a school board member and the Mayor of Ash Grove, I work to strengthen communication between our city and our schools so we can better support our students and staff. I’m an Ash Grove graduate myself, and the impact this district had on me continues today—shaping how I listen, ask questions, and make decisions. My wife, Lyndsey, and I are raising our two kids here, and through their involvement in FFA, athletics, and school activities, I see every day how important strong programs, safe facilities, and dedicated teachers are. My goal is simple: to serve with integrity, be a voice for families, and help ensure Ash Grove continues to be a place where students succeed and feel supported.
