PROPOSITION PIRATES is a NO TAX INCREASE Bond Issue to tackle needed items around the Ash Grove School District.  If passed, funds would be used to address deteriorating roof and HVAC systems across all campuses in the district on our aging facilities.  Funds would also be used to address traffic circulation, parking and safety needs at each school location.  To address district growth from increased enrollment, a multipurpose cafeteria area and new secure office/entrance at Bois D'Arc Elementary would improve ADA accessibility while opening up existing rooms for more classroom space.  The addition of a multipurpose room at Ash Grove Elementary will bring elementary students back under one roof for special area classes and eliminate the modular unit in front of the school and improve student safety.  Reconfiguration of these spaces will also help accommodate continued student growth for the future.  If passed, the Ash Grove tax levy will stay the same at $3.6488.  This no tax increase will be placed in front of voters on April 8th.
